Resource Guide

The Healthy Eating and Active Living and Behavioral Health Teams are collaborating to expand the existing Behavioral Health Resource Guide, creating the Nashville Wellness Resource Guide to support mental wellbeing, including the connection between good nutrition and physical activity and improved mental wellbeing.   • Physical Education/Activity
  • Healthy School Environment
  • Student Family & Community Involvement
  • Adult Wellness
  • Psychological Social Services

Project Outcomes Project Outcomes

Short-Term:

  • 10,000 unique visits to resource guide in first 12 months
  • Marketing materials or emails go out to at least 100 community organizations, clinics, social service agencies in Nashville

Mid-Term:

  • Unique visits go up by at least 20% during second year
  • At least 75% of users report having either learned something new from guide or found what they were looking for

Long-Term:

  • Increased graduation rate
  • Improved children's health

This resource guide will be created in support of Nashville's Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) and guided by the goals of Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS). Together, both Alignment Teams plan to come together and create an online-based resource guide geared toward students, staff and parents to promote whole-health wellness in and around Nashville.
